Timothy Sheneman, DODr. Sheneman, the nation’s first graduate from an integrated Internal Medicine / Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (IM/NMM) residency program, has Board Certifications in Internal Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. This accomplishment gives him insight into treating chronically ill patients with co-morbidities, for not only their pain (which is a common complaint) but also their quality of life — for example, the simple act of breathing that could be taken for granted unless living with COPD. Dr. Sheneman’s dual certification caught the attention of Mayo Clinic Health System, recruiting him to the state of Minnesota, where he practices in a rural community, enjoys walks with his wife and dog, and appreciates the quiet landscape occasionally interrupted by the sound of train whistles.
